The Foundry plan for companies, with a protection engine built for your product, and yearly billing on every plan.

Added

  • The Foundry plan: a business license, 50 protections a day, priority queue and support, API access, and protection features with a virtualization VM built for your product.
  • Yearly billing on every plan. A year paid in advance costs less than twelve monthly payments.

Changed

  • The website is now in English only. Addresses starting with /en redirect to the same pages.

Engine 2.3.1

Engine fixes for files with C++ exception handling, and the job position in the queue shown in the panel.

Changed

  • The panel shows the job position in the queue. The API returns it in the queue_position field.

Fixed

  • Functions with try/catch blocks in x86-64 files built with MinGW-w64 are protected correctly.
  • Downloading a result no longer fails when the file name contains non-ASCII characters.

Engine 2.3.0

Engine 2.3: PE files for Windows on Arm and license activation without an internet connection.

Added

  • PE files for the ARM64 architecture (Windows on Arm), including ARM64EC.
  • Offline activation: a request file from the customer’s machine and a signed response generated on your side.

Changed

  • Resource encryption also covers manifests and icons when you select them in the settings.

API version 1 for the Pipeline plan, and protection profiles: named sets of settings in the panel.

Added

  • API v1: upload files, check job status and download results with an access token. Available on the Pipeline plan.
  • Protection profiles: named sets of settings you choose in the panel or pass in an API request.
  • API tokens with an expiry date, created and revoked in account settings.

Engine 2.2.0

macOS support: Mach-O files, universal binaries included, and choosing functions from dSYM files.

Added

  • Mach-O files for x86-64 and arm64, and universal binaries containing both architectures.
  • Reading symbols from dSYM bundles uploaded as a ZIP archive.

Changed

  • Errors in the settings file point to the path of the invalid field.

Engine 2.1.0

Built-in licensing: serial keys signed with your own private key and licenses locked to hardware.

Added

  • Serial keys signed with the customer’s private key. The public key is embedded in the protected file.
  • Locking a license to a hardware identifier.
  • SDK macros for marking code regions to protect when a file has no symbols.

Fixed

  • DLL files with an empty .reloc section are no longer rejected on upload.

Engine 2.0.0

Torzen launches: protecting PE and ELF files in the panel, with functions selected from symbols.

Added

  • The panel at app.torzen.re: upload a file with its symbols, choose functions, download the result.
  • Support for PE files (EXE, DLL) with PDB symbols and ELF files with DWARF information.
  • Code mutation and virtualization, string encryption and import table protection.
  • Protection settings stored as a JSON file you can download from the panel and upload again.
