Engine 2.3: Windows on Arm and offline activation
The Torzen team, July 13, 2026
From today, every protection in the panel and through the API runs on engine 2.3. There is nothing to update: the new version works right away, and settings from earlier releases stay compatible.
Files for Windows on Arm
The engine accepts PE files for the ARM64 architecture, including ARM64EC, where native code works together with x64 code. PDB symbols work the same way as for x86-64 files.
Offline activation
Some customers run programs on machines cut off from the internet. A program protected with Torzen can now write an activation request file. You generate a signed response from it with your private key, and the customer loads it on the offline machine. Our servers take no part in this.
Resource encryption
Resource encryption now also covers manifests and icons when you select them in the settings. By default they stay unchanged, because the operating system reads them before the program starts.
The full list of changes is in the changelog.
